Wedding Announcement for Ethel indicates she was second daughter of Mr. K. Morrison also listed as of Richard St. - so none of the above likely fit.
New info as of Oct 15, 2001, Thomas H. Morrison was a widower at the time of marriage to Ethel's mother and - assuming this marriage is accurate (Mom, Noreen Philpott remembers the name Kessack so I think it is)

Thomas H. appears in the 1871 census for London City, Ontario as a blacksmith with three children -
Jessie age 10, James, age 9 and Annie age 4.

Thomas married (1) Jessie . Jessie died before 1871.

The transcription for the 1861 census - has a "J" Morrison, blacksmith, age 27 question mark as to place of birth and a Jessie Morrison age 25 born Montreal - the census pages are very difficult to read so I will assume that it is possible the T was taken for a J and that this is Thomas and his first wife in the 1861 census.

Thomas married (2) Annie KESSACK ⁵ daughter of James KESSACK and Jane. Annie was born⁶ in Ontario, CAN.

They had the following children:

+ 6 F iv. Ethel Jean MORRISON was born on 5 Apr 1873. She died on 25 Aug 1954.
