In Galloway, Kent, New Brunswick, Canada there is a place called McNairn. This must be named for Anthony and William who came to New Brunswick in 1817. McNairn is located at 46o27'00"N, -64o49'59"W in the Richibucto area of the Acadian Coastal Drive, Kent county. (from - Destination New Brunswick)
In Toronto, Ontario, Canada there is a street called McNairn Avenue. Norman McNairn has told me that this was named for two builders that came from Scotland named McNairn.
In Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada there is a street called McNairn Court. This was actually named after me, Judi McNairn, in approximately 1982 - a good friend of mine was designing the subdivision and got to choose names for the streets - the name passed through council.
In the St. Lawrence River at Brockville, Ontario, Canada there is an Island called McNairn Island.
In Traralgon, Victoria, Australia, there is a road called McNairn Road, presumably this must be named for John McKie Thomson McNairn - who is the only mention of McNairns in that area.
