This is the home of Alexander and Hester (Mattice) McNairn.  I am assuming the gentleman in the photograph is Alexander who died in 1886 - therefore this photo is from before 1886. 

This house is located on farm lot 37 in Osnabruck Township, Ontario, Canada.

In 1900 the second storey was raised.  See newer photo of this home.
