Johnson Alexander McNairn was born in 1883 in Osnabruck, Stormont County, Ontario, Canada. In 1915 he married Annie Dell Beach (1889 - 1949).
Johnson is the son of George Wesley McNairn and Harriet Amelia Cheley and the grandson of Alexander McNairn and Hester Mattice.
